The 80th HeatTreatmentCongress in Cologne
The Arbeitsgemeinschaft Wärmebehandlung und Werkstofftechnik e. V. (AWT) is organising the 80th Heat Treatment Congress at the Koelnmesse exhibition centre this year from 8 – 10 October. As a small anniversary highlight, the AWT and some exhibitors are inviting visitors to a ‘TalkingHeat’ hall party at 18:00 on the first day of the trade fair (Tuesday, admission free).
The congress programme of the scientific conference on Wednesday includes presentations on innovations in nitriding and case hardening as well as contributions on the development of new materials, additive manufacturing and the application of AI. On Thursday, the second day of the congress, reports on CO2 reduction and sustainability in the practice of heat treatment companies will take centre stage. This year, many new exhibitors from the fields of heating and cooling technology, measurement technology and casting products, among others, will be presenting themselves at the Hardening Congress.
To actively promote young talent, AWT is offering all students and trainees free admission to the congress and trade fair! Registration is possible at any time in the ticket shop.
